Solar power Industry – One of the biggest projects for solar power in Singapore is the solar farm at Tengeh Reservoir in Tuas. It is developed to be a large floating system, one of the world’s largest. Its capacity is projected to reach a 60-megawatt peak. The Tengeh Reservoir project tests 10 solar systems. The total cost of the project is estimated at $11 million.
Road privatization Industry – The North-South Corridor in Singapore is a network of expressways that will connect the East Coast Parkway and the northern parts of Singapore. The corridor will begin at Admiralty Road West, northern Singapore. The project will build 21 km of the expressway and its cost is estimated at $7–8 billion.
Dams Industry – The Marina Barrage in Singapore is a project built across the Marina Channel and consists of nine hydraulically-operated steel gates, with a length of 26.8 meters each. It was opened in 2008 and the total cost of the projects reached $226 million.
Port development – The Tuas mega port is a long-term project in Singapore that includes four construction phases and will be completed in 2040. The first phase of the project is expected to be ready in 2021 and it will cost $2.42 billion. The total cost of the projects is over $20 billion.
Airport development – A project for a new passenger terminal is in place for the Seletar Airport. The new terminal is six times larger than the existing one and can hold up to 700,000 passengers per year. The cost of this new terminal is estimated to rise to $80 million.
