Hydropower industry – The Ban Ve is a hydroelectric power plant project, with a capacity of 320 MW. The plant is located in Tuong Duong District of Vietnam, Nghe An province. It was commissioned in 2010 and it can produce over 1.76 billion kWh per year. This project was built with a total cost of around $390 million.

Solar Industry – The Guld Solar Power Project is a solar power plant project, located in the Tay Ninh Province, 50 km northwest of Ho Chi Minh. When completed, it will cover the power demand of the city. The Asian Development Bank has concluded a deal to support the project, for $37.8 million.

Road Privatization Industry – The Ho Chi Minh projects is a road development projects in Vietnam. Upon completion, it will link Cao Bang to Ca Mau. The project will have a total length of 98 km and is estimated to cost around $ 903 million.

The Ministry of Transportation in Vietnam has announced the tender of a motorway project, with a cost of $5 billion. The motorway will cross 13 provinces, from Nam Dịnh to Vinh Long, in the Mekong Delta.

Dam Industry – The Son La is a dam project, located in Da River, in It Ong, district Muong La, province Son La, in northern Vietnam. It includes the construction of a dam with a height of 177 m and a reservoir volume of 25 billion m3. The estimated cost for this project is $3.55 billion.

Dai Ninh is a project that is expected to provide 300-MW of electricity for Ho Chi Minh and the nearby provinces. It will be located in the Duc Trong district, province Lam Dong, in Vietnam. This project is estimated to reach a cost of $440 million.

Cold Storage Industry- CLK COLD STORAGE COMPANY LIMITED has announced to build a Cold Storage Warehouse, located in Ho Chi Minh. The project includes a warehouse with 13 rooms, on a floor space of 7,000 m2. The temperature range that can be controlled in the warehouse is −50°C to +25°C. The project’s cost is estimated at $15 million.

Port Development Industry- A project to develop two ports in Vietnam has started in 2008. The project includes the construction of two deepwater ports, Cai Mep and Thi Vai. These ports are expected to take the traffic of 26m tons by 2010 and 35m tons by 2020. The combined cost of the two ports is expected to reach $695 million.

AirPort Development Industry – The Airports Corporation of Vietnam has proposed a project for the construction of a third terminal at Tan Son Nhat Airport. The new terminal would hold 20 million passengers per year and would comprise three phases that would be developed over three decades. The projected cost of the project rises to $496 million.
